Weekly food shop and then continue with summer house assembly if it stays dry.

Went out for river walk last night with wife just as the light was fading, was feeling a little amorous and said to the wife how about a quick tug
Yeah sure she said here's one !!!!!

The weekend has arrived enjoy

Guid afternoon
Busy day, got volunteered to assemble a summer house for a friend of the wife.
Thought it came in panels, but no piece small, hunners oh bits.
Still got the base completed and added legs, not supplied as it was designed to sit on a bed of gravel.
Its on a slope hence different length legs. Also insulated the underside and gave the deck a coat of wood preserve.
Just need to excavate 4 holes in lawn to set it level and lift it in. No mates so KEVSTAR have a trip to Renfrew and geeza lift.View attachment 248183 View attachment 248182 View attachment 248184
That is a "shedload" of unpaid labour for a friend of a wife.
In the past I too (as many of us) have done stuff like this, but never me on such a grand scale.
I got a couple of bottles of whisky once from one friend of Wifeys for making her car safe to pass an MOT, (about 5 minutes work to make a front bumper safe with a file and tape.) Then I located a "new" one for her not too far away from Ebay, drove her to the place in the LR she paid and I brought it back, I then found a mate in the trade to paint if for her then took the old one off and fitted the new one, which did entail a round trip of 8 miles home and back to recut a thread.
so for putting up that shed i think the going rate has to be about 20 botts of whisky!!!!!!!
:):):):):)

Morning All :D
I am still here and functioning pretty much OK. :)
I have not managed to get anywhere with my GP's surgery for an appointment so I am going to go radical on them.
As (in technical terms) my neck has been broken I am going to go and camp out in A&E and ask them for some sage advice and a risk assessment.
My reasoning is that while it is a 4 year old break, something has recently changed (for the worse) and that feels like a 1-way street if I leave things un-looked at.
So, I shall be taking a book to read and donning my politest smile for everyone to see while I wait there among the hoi-poloi to be seen. :)
Have a great day. :D
