Just a quick visit to say I picked up a trailer yesterday and the 90 did the 200 mile round trip without missing a beat. She drove down the M40 at a steady 60 and it didn't bother it at all.
Still haven't exchanged though, it is getting so stressful I am trying to keep it in perspective and carry on.
Hope you are all well :)

Afternoon folks:).

Well thats another days work done:) (term used very loosely:p).

Been in a bit of E-mail ping pong with the passport office, why cant they just answer the bloody question:mad::mad:. I have 2:eek: (legally I might add). 1 runs out Jan 21 and the other Dec 23. 1 is primary and 1 is 2nd(extra) I now dont know which is which and have asked which 1 is which and if I just let the Jan expire then continue using the Dec. which obviously suits me/situation better. Was told to make an application for a new 1 and surrender both;). Thanks prick for the help:mad:.

Anyway that all went out the window last night as got call from Mum & Dad and it was not really expected but Brother is on the downhill and has been given months:(:(:( He was doing so well. So anyway I am looking at coming back to the UK to see him, Mum & Dad.
So the passport has become a minor niggle right now.
Just got to work out what I need to do covid test wise, then sort some flights.

Dont mean to put a downer on your weekend folks sorry:).

Terrible news so sorry to be reading this. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Got an email from my insurance company about the accident we had months ago
(when the silly moo stopped due to ducks on the road)

Good Morning
I am still awaiting a response from the other side insurers with offers in settlement of your claim.
I will let you know as soon as I hear from them.

The last time I heard from them they said..The other insurers are saying I hit the rear of the other
vehicle but all the evidence shows otherwise  since she smashed her back doors against my bumper.

Its so long ago I cant remember what date it happened. o_O

Very sad news :( , I hope you are able to sort everything necessary out with the minimum of effort.

That is a "shedload" of unpaid labour for a friend of a wife.
In the past I too (as many of us) have done stuff like this, but never me on such a grand scale.
I got a couple of bottles of whisky once from one friend of Wifeys for making her car safe to pass an MOT, (about 5 minutes work to make a front bumper safe with a file and tape.) Then I located a "new" one for her not too far away from Ebay, drove her to the place in the LR she paid and I brought it back, I then found a mate in the trade to paint if for her then took the old one off and fitted the new one, which did entail a round trip of 8 miles home and back to recut a thread.
so for putting up that shed i think the going rate has to be about 20 botts of whisky!!!!!!!
:):):):):)
Only 20, you are easily pleased !

...I got seen and the view was that I am in no immediate danger so go back to GP and get referred to spine clinic. at some point in the future. Doesn't really help me that much but at least I tried.
But now I am on record as having attended there to present my issue to them, so that's no bad thing, and if it all goes horribly wrong for me my lawyers will surely be in touch with them (no win no fee) ;)

Guid afternoon

So a wee bit of progress on the summer house.
Went to B&Q with wifey and bought paint, fence post concrete, gravel etc
Used my Tradepoint card and saved her 10%
Completed insulation under floor, excavated holes, moved base and sat in position, wifey gave me a hand to move, strong lass.
Anyway concreted it in and then wifey says its not square to the fence can I move it !!!! eh you just watched me set the concrete !!!
I had to explain that here fence was nearer 105 degrees, not 90 geez and I set it accordingly.
And then she says can the door be on the other side, I explained the design of the base meant the door had to on the side facing the house.
Favour for friends, never again.............................
Went to the gym to de stress. Will I have a drink tonight.....you'd better believe it.
Later

You are a saint! Remember..."No good deed ever goes unpunished", and, "today's favour can become tomorrow's obligation". ;)
