Normal service has now been resumed after a lovely week away.
It is a smashing sunny morning although there is a light ground frost - doesn't seem to have bothered the sheep and their lambs as they peer into my kitchen.
Enjoy your week, folks.
Must go - battery going flat ……………………………………….. laptop not mine.:)
Glad you had a nice time!:):):):)

Another one done

Gym this morning was an eye-opener. I really struggled after all these months of lockdown.
But to add to the tally of P.E. today I then went round my son's and pulled up and stacked 640 concrete brick pavers.
To say I feel a bit "worn" is an understatement.
I'm still alive & kicking at least. :D

If I did a 20th of what you do physically, I'd be 6 feet under, pushing up the daisies.
Except I wouldn't have the strength to do that.;)
Well done mate!:):):)

Thanks! :) I was remarking to Tom today that all the pain we were feeling was just a measure of reassurance that we are actually still alive.
My son whose house it is will be taking 2 days off to help Tom, so I am excused duties for a while. ;) Thank goodness!

Being your age, but nowhere near as fit as you, I have been feeling it in my knees when doing low down work. I actually had to take my boots off today so I could carry on with a bit of plastering about 6" off the floor.
"Done" now which means once it dries and I have sanded it back I will see how much I will have to redo.
"making good", what a bloody faff! All for a hole about 9" square.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
