I have a lot of vinyl discs which, in the old days, I'd put onto cassette, but since CDs came along I just bought them, as the sound "information" you get is so much fuller than with MP3 files. But I would assume that if you somehow downloaded the info from the CDs onto a pooter and tried to move that onto a USB, you may lose a lot, if you put them into MP3 files.

And while we are on this, does anyone have a nice design of shock absorbing mount for a CD player? as the one in my Disco 2 does tend to make the odd disc jump/skip from time to time.
