Still leak free but did replace the little clip at the top of the radiator from the little pipe that feeds back to the expansion bottle as I found a tiny drip.....not a leak but a drip

A drip sounds a tinsy-winsy bit like a leak?
 
Any know the size of the heater orings going to tackle them tomorrow if I've got correct sizes that is
 
OK cheers for size info. So eventually found my 2 boxes of o rings today after emptying the shed and wouldn't you know it I've got every size apart front the one I need to do the o rings. bloopy typical :mad::mad:.
 
I've just gone to town on my little madam. Replaced. Gearbox filter and oil, replaced engine oil and filter, had the ol dash out to do major bowel surgery, drained and replenished the axles and transfer box. All that time the floor was snuff dry. I did it my way. Is that a record?

If you have a v8 then your oil is empty.
 
Stop the clock.

Bloody LHS rocker cover gasket! Christ, you stop one leak, and straight away a new one pops up. They're not even that old, maybe two years.
Are there any tips for ensuring these seal properly? I remember them both being quite fiddly last time around. Can I run a bit of Hylomar around or is that frowned upon?
 
As far as keeping the oil in your engine goes this is your friend

Get an oil burner.
