Bloody throttle body is back to it's old tricks of dripping, allowing the coolant to collect onto three leads on the left bank, the heat builds up and steam would appear to be the main culprit, condensing onto the inside of the cap. Plug gets all nae happy and I get a hesitation.
I don't have time to take it all apart & replace gaskets & whatnot, so it's a bottle of K Seal I'm afraid. Got a long journey Wed morning, over 200 miles so not fancying getting caught in Glasgow traffic with pulling away hesitations and losing coolant an orl
Mind you, it's taken over 1000 miles to lose half a litre so I'm not too worried. I should have opened the bonnet sooner and discovered the leak sooner, but George is pretty good in most aspects. I do have an oil leak and I suspect it's the rear crank seal, but it'll have to wait a bit. Was thinking on popping in some of that stuff that "revives" hard oil seals... Anyone got anything to say about it? Good, bad, indifferent?
