I dried the underlay from my project car by simply hanging it vertically from the ladders in the garage. It dripped quite a bit at first, but after a week or two was completely dry. My guess is the water gradually worked its way down the foam using gravity.

My lads got a carpet cleaner with hand attachments. This was brilliant when my heater matrix leaked and wet the carpet. 20 mins with that and sucked 90% of the moister out. Heater then did rest

The removed carpet was asolutely sodden. :(
Sodden-orrible is what it is. ;)
I am drying it off in the workshop (fan & heat-source).
With the carpet out I dried everything yesterday and today it was showing some signs of water penetration.
I have enlisted the help of a portable rain-shower (watering can + a set of steps) and sure enough I can hear a slurping noise at the tube-joints at the C-Pillar and directly below these is where the water pooling starts.
I will pull all the panels off and see if I can seal the joints up properly (CT1 or similar) after rodding the outlets through with a curtain wire to make sure there is an actual working "exit".
I hate this car with a passion. My old blue one was far less trouble.

You want something thicker than a curtain wire for a proper rodding.mate.:D:oops:

There's plastic clips at the sunroof and wheel arch ends, but you need to drop the headlining (maybe not fully remove if lucky) to access the top one.

RAVE doesn't show it, but there might also be a pipe joint halfway down behind the c-pillar panels.

...And.... what total feckin' moron decided to put that soft rubber joiner through the wheel-arch panel under/alongside the rear inertia-reel mechanism and behind a bracket?
Re-inserting the clear plastic tube is like I imagine it would be to insert a wet and floppy bit of large size macaroni up an angry cat's arse while wearing boxing gloves.:mad::mad::mad:
In the end I had to put a holesaw through the bracket to allow me to gain access and re-insert the pipe.
I will have to do this all over again when I apply sealant to the joint. :(:(:(

Join the tube ends together if they've separated with chopped up Biro, (other pens are available but might not fit :D) ...

Or re-plumb with screen wash tube ...

Screen wash tubing is too small, but re-plumbing with a single pipe from sunroof to wheel arch is a good idea.
