I think this is the second time I've looked in the RR section since I joined & I find that it's not only FL1 & D2's that have leaks associated with the sunroofs so I feel for you.
I think LR should be banned from fitting sunroofs, IMHO they're a waste of time anyway especially with AC, as they can't seem to make them seal or drain without causing issues (cheap materials, poor assy or both). If you have mould on the s/roof seals give them a good clean & treat them with Autoglym or equivalent rubber treatment stuff to 'rejuvenate' 'em, best of luck.

Your only saying that because if you had a sunroof and opened it the wind would make a mess of your hair. Hang on, you've got a Gaylander so extra hair lacquer won't be a problem.;):D:D

My D2 has been the perverbial T bag (both s/roofs out to be resealed & drains unblocked + the top w/screen rubber, roof gutters .... I won't go on) but on the FL1 just one side of the mechanism is kaput so I managed to shut it & then pulled the fuse.
As for hair lacquer, perish the thought it's Brylcreem all the way, good enough for Beckham good enough for me:).

I agree, LR should be banned from fitting sunroofs, luckily both mine don't have them:p

The only 1 of ours that leaks through the roof is the fender, that doesn’t have a bloody sunroof:eek::eek:.

Well I have see no further ingress of water inside the car, all the talcum-powder is still dry and no "tracks" in it.
I took this picture today where it looks to me that water is successfully draining from the car (especially on the RH side where the poor tube connection was, but I am not sure if this is just external surface drainage or whether the sunroof cassette drains are doing their job.
Answers on a postcard please. :D

Dammitall the carpet in the back there is wet again!! Grrrrrrrrrrr.:mad:
Happy LEAKMUS :). I'm in Swanage this week & went to put some stuff in the D2 this morning & what do I find, a small puddle on the retractable boot cover . I know it's only the tailgate seal but it's not leaked there before, bloo*y things so frustrating.
Hope you sort it & have a leak free new year.
