Here you can just see the pipe as it exits the c-Pillar capping. The boot/grommet is tight up behind/alongside the inertial-reel assembly. In this pic the rubber boot is hidden by the seat back support metalwork.

Just done the Watering can test. It appears to be leak-free at last.
While the sun is shining I shall put the carpets & trim back in.

Final (I hope) update. Heavy rain all day yesterday.
Car still nice & dry today. I think it is indeed a "win".
