ok now im even more confused i connected up the digital temp guage that i was gonna fit in the first place today and now im getting two diffent readings(see pic)
if i remove the filler tank cap and the rad cap whilst the engine is running the water is pushed out of the top of the rad filler hole
dont know if thats relevant tho
the top rad hoses arnt pressureised you can squeeze them and here the water being moved in the filler tank so im assuming water is moving although you cant keep hold of the pipe too long as its bloody hot
if in reality lets say the digi guage is correct would the pipes at 40oc be that hot that you couldnt grab hold of them?
i know my boss has one of those digi pointy temp thingys that i could borrow of him and see what sort of readings im getting
anyone any suggestions as to find out what guage is correct?
