The horn on my 93 classic won't work. I've checked the horn itself and I've looked inside the switch. The contacts shut ok when I bridge across the pins but one of the two pins that are the horn has no feed and I've no diagram to show me what's what. Anyone got a diagram or is a wheeze on these switches? Cheers.

thanks for replying. no I haven't and don't know what a rave manual is forgive my ignorance.

oh thank you for the info I haven't tried it that way I will do now and let you know if I may as you obviously know far more than I do! Thanks again.

the reason i deleted the previous reply is that i have found out that on my 95 rangie they have incorporated a relay into the circuit therefore if your 93 is wired the same you will not have a permanent supply
the horn is still operated by the earth, but its through the relay
the horns are permanently earthed the other wire goes up to a relay output
when pressing the horn it supplies an earth to the relay , energising it and allowing current to go through the relay contacts, putting power to the horns

Thank you again! I'll have another go. Have had to do a temporary switch on the side as MoT today - gulp - the horn was the last straw after bushes and trackrod ends etc., etc.. Thanks for your care and advice and here's hoping.
