It's definitely worth at least 7k. Don't accept that chancers offer of 5k. Why don't you do the welding and put it up for 8?
I’m probably going to drop it to around 8k soon anyway. And no 5k is low for these cars even in the external condition that mines in.

My car has the advantage of being a daily driver for 3 years so has had constant maintenance and upgrades to the drivetrain. Making it hopefully ideal for someone who can finish it off.

Like I said there are farms here that will take it on but at best £5k

It's worth what someone will pay.
At current values running costs etc etc noone wants them.
Horse shìt.
I'd pay more than 5k for it.

You try and buy any defender online for 5k and it will be a pile of scrap. You're low-balling him because you want an easy deal.

Old shìtbox Disco's on the other hand, you can't give them away!!! 😉

Ps, anything is only worth what someone will pay for it.

I don't want a defender thanks but 12seat csw make good busses for veg workers .
Farmers will pay what they are worth which is £5k at the moment

Car dealer story for you.
Mate selling boat for 40k, several people contact him, car dealer turns up first, car dealer books surveyor and lift out (approx 700 quid total) then he low balls said mate and offers 25k, same old story no one is buying them etc etc, one of the other interested buyers offers said mate full asking price, boat delivered up the thames to new owner by a very happy mate, car dealer lost 700 quid.

Guy posting above may actually have a point, when was the last time you saw a 110 on the road? see 90s all day long.

Interesting story indeed. To answer your question I usually see around 2 or 3 a week, not many 90s though at least not my way.
