So rather than driving along taking normal air for combustion why would it not be cleaner and more efficient if you drove down a tunnel containing oxygen rich air.

It would, but only if your vehicle could utilise more oxygen, which a diesel can't.
And only if the cost of generating that oxygen didn't exceed the benefits, which it would.

So unlike any other thing that burns, diesel dunt burn better in oxygen.
 
So the only bad thing in adding oxygen is heat?

I may have to go six stroke with a water injection between burns to cool the head. :D
