More like Wet ass!!! I was out there yesterday laying in the wet not fun!! Its ok when your out competing and have a mission to change somthing or fix whatever you broke and get going again but when there is so much work to do its just plain mind screw

Cool the 109 is all good then

Well, it is a series, so 'all good' is probably a bit of an exaggeration ;)

But its back on the road, I'm just down to the usual niggle list of a few oil drips, electrical gremlins and oddments. Mind you its the MOT next month, so probably shouldn't speak to soon.

Andy and Paul came over today managed to fully weld up both front outriggers to comply with comp regs on the 80 inch. Fuel tank is just abo0ut there just a few lil bits. got to make rear spacer blocks and the cage can be bolted and welded on once and for all

evening' all,

Just wondered if anyone has a range rover classic v8 radiator that doesn't leak that they might want to sell me??

Thanks

Dave

Done front wheel bearing as it was on it's way out, noticed I'd lost a nut off of the top shock mount so did that too. Cleaned the free wheeling hubs out and they now work again.
Changed the engine oil, can't remember the last time, but it wasn't too bad really.
Changed both diff oils, front one was watery sludge, rear was good.
Topped up gearbox oils, must have a leak on the gearbox to transfer box seal as gearbox needed oil and transfer box was over full. Might just keep topping the gearbox up and letting it of of the transfer box.

Tidied excess redundant wires to the old tow hitch.

Rear brakes next Saturday and I'm good to go again.

Not a bad day's work really.:D

Sounds like you been busy Brett.

Not done anything to mine this week. Both sills are done, both outer rear wheel arches are done just bracing myself for the boot floor! Hopefully a few weeks doing bits here and there and the Rangie will be back in one piece with a few less holes in it!!

Once I'm back up and running and I've been for a scout around you guys should come up here for a spot of laning, there's some great routes you'll be sure to enjoy.

Wouldn't be too bad a job to sort the seal out mate - less than a day even of there were problems and while we have the light evenings it might be best to get it sorted!

Would be most willing to pop across and chip in with a spanner or two if it would help!

Hello Kev! Haven't seen you in bloody ages! How's welsh wales? Are you down here at the office very often... you should call in for a coffee if so!

Ryder, gearbox out of a Series is a bitch of a job, I'd like to see it sorted in less than a day. Has to either come out after engine comes out or up through the inside of the car. No removable military cross member on mine to make it easy, then you've got to deal with the box repair itself. I'll keep topping/draining it until I need to do more major things to it.

'No Motor Vehicles Except For Access Sign'

What defines access on roads like these?
Can i drive them to 'access' whats on the other side? Can I drive down them to 'access' somewhere to.... take a photo? Can I drive them to 'access' the road/track its self?

Anyone ever run into issues on them??

Dave
