Putting a steady behind where the pinion and crownwheel mesh to stop the crownwheel being pushed away from the pinion loosing mesh and stripping teeth

Next pub meet mot willing will have o sort out if anyone fancies some local lanes think I fancy driving pepper stock again and maybe a few if they're still open and legal up ashridge Hemel way

Any of the Herts laners heading up to the
Nationals for a bit of spectating this year?

Pitty I missed the deadline for competing but next year should be there with a tested motor!

I think you must have some genuine ORIGINAL 11B rims which were an additional 1/2 inch offset.

Shhh! Dont tell the rivet counters. If they find out what you're doing to them they will hunt you down and call you names!!!

I think these new rims are sold as acceptable replacements for the original wheels rather than an exact copy.

Do I sell my set now or what? Anybody want a set of 130 rims? Part number ANR1534 16x6.5x20.6 Say 50 quid each? I have a good set of 5.

And do I get a set of 205s for racing and put them on the rangie steels?

Aye up guys, it's been quiet in here lately, hope you're all well. Jai, you need to get out and drink more!

I'm hoping to make the pub meet (50/50 chance atm) it would be nice to catch up. Cheers.

Andy get a set of 205 diamonds but double check they're not banned just got the msa news through and in there was something about cross country tyre regs were updated no Info just that is had been amended.

Saturday I have to make this rear
Roll cage wedge spacer block. Fit my new shock bushes and try and fit a std axle to the series until I can get another series iii and get a cv joint in there been reading an it seems possible!

Won't use a hd cwp as the centre is weak and I don't
Fancy chewing diff gears through my cwp.

So there has to be a way o fitting later stronger shafts in a series casing the bearings are the same as my early 90 so it's likely the stub axle is similar of not the same.

I'm doing safety cover this weekend down at Luton Hoo lake, 75 kids learning how to sail, canoe and build rafts. 2 days in my dry suit standing in a lake, lovely, can't wait. Working Saturday night too, BAFTA TV Awards at Royal Festival Hall, work Monday morning for a rest.

Hiya Kev!!

Hope all is good with you how's that rangy of yours doing??

Hello Jai,

Rangy is getting there, I've done the sills and outer rear arches. Got a couple of little fiddly bits of rot repair to do then I need to do the rear cross member and boot floor - not looking forward to that. This is taking much longer than I thought, I mean I started in January and now it's nearly June!!!

Hopefully catch up with you soon.
