Hi Spyderman, got a towbar on the back and the little ring on the front (don't know if thats any good for recovery). Don't want to do anything to tough just yet, will end up looking like a muppet.

Think I've done well tonight tbh.. Got my dad interested in a 130 special vehicle, gained an extra month to pay back some money I owe him and bargained with him until he offered to give me his karcher pressure washer (brand new, boxed) for free if I paid for his ticket for the adventure travel show on sunday in london (which is only £8) :D:D:D

Now I have found you can get sandblaster attachments for these so I'll blast my wheels (from sible) down, paint them up and they'll look fantastic with my new mud tyres on whoopee.

P.S. Ryder do you want this bag of sand back or can I use it to blast my wheels? :D

Tow Bar on the back is fine. The ring on the front is a tie down loop for when it's on a transporter, NOT to be used for recovery. Jate Rings bolted through the chassis are the best/cheapest/easiest fitted form of recovery point.
We're only doing gentle lanes on Sunday, we can talk about it then if you can't sort some in time. I can't see you needing recovery on the local stuff.

Yeah, been reading this thread and looking at some of the videos, you look like a pretty hard core bunch............break me in gently!!

I hope you started at page 1.:D

Hey, we were all new to it once, we're not out to kill you or your motor. There's a lot of experience here, don't worry.

Now, Jack is a different story, he should definately be worried.:D
;)

Don't worry Diesel It'll be fine the local ones are easy going I've kinda retired from the mad stuff (He says------------- until the next comp) but you'll be ok no problem.

Out of interest what tyres make size?
