just got first landy 110 v8 1990 - would like to try out a few simple lanes so i can get used to driving off road and get a feel for whats involved and develop some basic skills. is there anywhere where local to wheathampstead that anyone would recommend, don't want to upset any farmers or local landowners
and don't want to make a fool of myself by getting stuck

we used to'hold our monthly pub meet at the crooked chimney now days its in Dunstable your most welcome to come and join us wednesday. tag along on some local lanes hitchen luton way'for a non damaging taste

Welcome to LZ, there are quite a few fellow greenlaners near you you'll find on here so just ask I'm sure they could show you a few lanes. If you go to user cp (in the top left) you can add your location and might be worth putting your model and year in your signature so if you have any problems people can help you more specifically. And there are a couple of things you should or shouldn't do..

Don't go out on your own. Always go with another vehicle. :doh:
Be prepared to have the **** taken out of you. It happens a lot on here :D
Use the search function before posting your questions.
Always try and help others when you can cause one day you'll get stuck yourself ;):rolleyes:

But most of all have fun, we have pub meets first wednesday of every month (check out the calendar - link in a few peoples signatures)

When were you thinking of doing the Hitchin Luton stuff. I must try and get out and do some lanes, Never done a green lane been more Pay & play or when the Herts club have had a driving day,

Mind you must sort some fron towing stuff on the car as it's just got the Standard towing eye at the moment
