So Brett... we're sitting here wondering when you will turn up for that relay you phoned about... Kai's getting a little tired so I will send him off to bed and rose is a little concerned that we didn't get the shopping done...

I take things worked out OK in then end?

LOL :D

Ryder, Sorry Mate, things went from bad to worse. Phil brought my Workshop Manual over and we had the whole lot to bits, 9 hours work in the end to fix it. Completely went out of my mind. Turned out the relay was OK.

I was woken again by f#kin magpies this morning harrassing my cat. Has someone got a .177 air rifle i can borrow to sort them out? Is it legal btw?

yes shooting magpies is legal as long as the pellet your shooting is not able to leave the confined of your property.

e.g if your shooting down garden at a magpie that has a shed behind it ur safe, however if the pellet leaves your garden its illegal and u'll get nicked under firearms legislation!

p.s the mrs says mind the cat!? I'd personally do that n all ;-)

No worries mate... I kind of gathered that things had changed...we weren't planning on goinn out any way!

An interesting day. Met Jai at Sainsbury's Bedford. Found out that my N/S front wheel was just about to fall off, wheel bearings totally shagged. Lucky Jai had a couple of spares and I had everything else with me. So a quick re-build in the car park. Then met up with a load of Northants 4x4 members for a laning day, but when we found them at a lane, there were already full on their group, so we baled sharpish.
Just the 2 of us carried on and did some really nice lanes around Santa Pod, made a bit special by the almighty thunderstorm that filled every hole with water.

Told ya wheel bearings often cause odd brake pedal:eek:.

No thunder here today; glad you in one piece though.

Hey Kev you woulda loved today lots of fun nothing even remotly bad couple of tight ones but come out unscathed dispite being bloody high and a roof rack. It was almost as tight as the trialling a few weeks ago!

I feel humbled and bow to your superior knowledge. The fookin thing was about to fall off.

:

You would have loved it today, I even overtook a tractor on one of the Santa Pod lanes, he was just tuning up the ruts to prohibit lesser mortals.

Well done. Can you prove you actually overtook something:p Haha. Mind you if there were moderate to deep ruts I would have needed a tow:eek:.

Which one? :p

Bought a 110 Van a few weeks back... Went out on a laning trip today (See Topic below) where it decided to start ****ing fuel out!

Series 3 is on hold for till' the end of june when i have 3 months holiday :)
