ow cool pics spyderman it was bloody tight I took it steady as you did also cos my roofrack could of taken a right old battering,
Ill upload my pics later not as good a quality just my phone pics sorry chaps.

To be fair today started off badly I run out of fuel on the wrong side of the hill about 500Yds from the petrol station. MUST MUST remember that red means out!! anyways off to meet spyderman at sainsburys just outside Bedford and his wheel bearing is hanging. Propper knackared so we set about changing it after an hour of us changing a wheel bearing being chatted up by a D3 lover and an older quite crazy man on about Morrocco (any relation booger?) we set off for the new meeting point. Above Spydermans pics shows how tight it was and it was bloody tight think the roofrack kept my bodywork off the trees and I had a nice tree on my bonnet after the first lane.

Crackin pics guys, most upset I didn't go. That wheel bearing looks proper shot - You'll be challenging for the Ryder Cup next.

Jai, nice pictures.

It must feel strange to you going out laning, you haven't been for ages.

Yea it was really nice to get out again been keeping a low profile with the laning cos I thought it was getting quite hard on the motors. Yesterday was a real pleasant day out no damage just some nice lanes and a bit of a chill out. Really good day out.

I really want to avoid us getting like it was yesterday when we first turned up.

One thing that I think we should learn from yesterday is:

THE most dangerous thing worse than any anti's or 4x4 haters is when us the 4x4 people just don't see the harm they are doing themselves even tho they have the best intentions and want to try and save the lanes. If we just stand back occasionally and look from another perspective the problems are obvious to see to all.

Hopefully anything that isn't as it should be can be dealt with before anything comes of it and any anti's use it against us.

All in all nice trip out, met some nice folk, a very happy horsey lady, nice to see some BHCLRC guys and girls out aswell and some cool new lanes

hows ya doin' chris? You got that main bearing cap back in with the rear main yet?

Hiya Jai,

Yes we got the main bearing cap back in and the seal replaced... Kai has put the flywheel back on and we are just waiting for Ash to get back so we can borrow his engine hoist... then we'll put the transmission back in and put Kai's second V8 on the engine stand.

I still owe you some cash mate... if you want to pop around tomorrow it'll be here. 'course if you don't it'll be spent again by wednesday!

Cheers Mate

cool I'll be over tomorrow after work. At least your getting somwhere I think I'm going backwards. Lol should be back on the road before Wales cool.
