I Decided to go and do a few lanes today...found one between Hemel and Bovingdon, right next to cuffley camp if anyones done that before? Got a little tight in places. I was very tempted to do the ford at the Mill in Harpenden/Redbourn but couldnt see the bottom, was pretty deep with all the rain this morn....decided to be on the safe side and leave it not having a snorkel. Finally went to the lane which comes out just down the road from the crooked chimney...nice and wet and slippy...when did the rutty bit at the end get flattened?! It was completely flooded.

Well, went out with the full intention of doing a few but got caught short when a visitor from afar and long lost relative dropped in unannounced!

Had to cancel the evening and come home... still it was nice to see me old mate again!

I was tempted to go out and about on my own yesterday but in the end just couldn't be bothered. Must have caught a dose of apathy from all that rain!!

Ryder, glad you finally got your MOT, try not to break it too soon eh!

evening Dan. Rob and I are going out on Sunday 28th for some gentle stuff as we both have standard Discos. Do you want to join us?

breaker bar, vice, make sure they are torqued up to the correct figure, this should not be guessed!!! Kin tight is not good enough! Jai

I'm sure when I got a set of cheapos last year they were in a plain box with mintex stamped in back of the metal part of the pad. Looking good Jamie keep up the hard work!
Did you ever get to the bottom of the bearing problems??

Jai
