Well another fine day of landy repairs. Ryder should be road legal as soon as he can arrange another MOT test. The rear wheel arch on his Disco has more metal in it than it did the day it left the factory!

Hopefully I will have a new MOT next week as well so it's all looking good. Hope to see you all at the pub on Wednesday.

Kev's being modest methinks. He's done a brilliant job on the welding on my motor. What started out as a small patch ended up with him laying down a whole lot more metal than I would have imagined possible, especially since I thought the car was in in pretty good shape. Just goes to show that you don't know till you strip it out!

Still, Kai got a lesson on the angle grinder; the neighbours learned the value of ear plugs, Luke got chicken for dinner and even Saff benefitted (if you count being sat at the kitchen table revising for her maths exam on Monday!)

Many thanks tp Kev, and if the MOT man finds anything else wrong I am gonna park the disco where the sun don't shine!

Well last nite turned out to be intresting.

Landy been away from the mud for a few weeks while i did some work to it so decided to treat it to sandy lane. Meet two nice lads down there james and john in a very nice shinny but standard disco.

Got talking and went of to show them steppingly lane, quarter of the way down the lane had to get some kids to move there cars so we could get past the lane as there must of been about ten cars of them having a rave in the woods.

Drove the lane both ways and stopped on the gravel track to chat as the police turned up and then got talking to " HIS LORDSHIP" the duke of bedford who is a very nice down to earth bloke all though he said no when i offered him my car just for a drive of his. Ended up going down the lane again to give extra light for the police to stop the rave.

So after thinking it will be a quick visit to steppingly it turned into a 3 hour stay.

Well I didn't go out in the end. Decided to just lounge around and veg in the heat.

What does everyone think or know about JE Engineering? I was considering a Stage 1 remap from them.

All good I think the white pick-up was best overall simply because it weighs alot less and has reall slow gearing. Jai

Jai,
Have you ever had thoughts of rc'ing a full size car? I know it wouldn't be road legal, but what a crack... probably an auto rr classic would be ideal.

my bro was asked to rc a tank for tanksalotdotcom nicki mead a while ago we deemed it too dangerous althoigh he did it for channel 4. We did a pilot show for 1/6 scale combat using sony goggles we could toggle between tge on board camera and a clear lens only problem was
When we toggled back the aircraft were nowhere to be seen well we didnt loose any but it was a pain! jai

right, time to start on the layout of the inside of the 90, and the security!!!
clutch claw bought, isolator switch and alarm to fit.
materials for bed (yes a bed) to be bought, i got a wicked design for the bed, full length from front to back inside, on passenger side, and removable too for when we go laning!

hope you all well n catch up with ya'll soon

Dan

dan there are loads of people that have put beds on the passenger side its a simple case of tilting the seat forward a decent frame and a couple of legs. From what i remember. That way you can still carry your fuel internally behind the bulkhead and have the middle bulkhead as your level.
