Won't be at Roundhill tomorrow- spent the day doing a whole raft of jobs including fitting new wheels, and whilst I was at it I bled and adjusted the brakes- just been out for a test run and the brakes are worse than before I started
Ain't it a bitch! Any ideas what's going on?

I see whaddon is having a weekend punch event in april with camping or caravaning. Sounds something different. Is anyone going from here.

Thanks to you, my bearings are cool and running just fine. Ordering some more for you and another set for me to fit to the other side on Saturday.

Do you defo have those disks? happy to buy them from you if so...

Jeez, is there anything on this Disco you've bought that actually works?

A few things.... a bit like you series a couple of years ago.... glad to say the engine is fine ;)
Not really, mine was bought as a toy, I've constantly upgraded it, doing everything properly as it either needed it or I wanted it, if it's off the road while things are being done it doesn't matter.
Yours was bought as a daily driver, there's a big difference.

Except that there is nothing, so far, that stops it from being a daily driver... there are issues that I am happy to sort out... I can't manage to spend loads of money on it... but we can do things bit by bit and do them as well as possible.:D

Besides.... I have gone without a daily driver before... we could do it again if we had to!

Honestly! Some people want everything on a plate! ;)

I think it was the idiot who did it (me) I was using an easibleed and the air line must not have been connected properly- re-bled them on Sunday and now all fine!!

it meant I missed out on a day at Roundhill

I was just thinking about the Land Rovers that you've bought in the past, still got the oil slick on my drive to prove it.

Take a look at the very tidy dark green 200tdi for sale for £1000 on the Anthill mob FB site. It won't stay unsold for long, definitely underselling it.

Looks clean hopefully the boot and sills are good

Even that tho you still gotta factor in £1000 for any "new to you"
Landy oils are £100 then timing belt then the odds n sods wheel bearings service items belts brakes no matter what you buy you gotta factor in around £1k of parts let alone labour to get one up to being half reliable if you find one that needs no work I say you ain't looked hard enough!

If it had mud tyres it could be a complete crock o ****e imagine buying a motor after having fun in it?? Standon ford then whaddon you could have a right bag ob****e on your hands

To be fair.... we did fix that particular leak!

I did look at the one on the anthill site... and, had I not already got this one then I would have been seriously tempted - time to work from the front to the back on this one and fix each issue that comes up one at a time.... by the end of the process it will be a decent piece of kit. Seeing as how I have 90% of the the spares I might need... it shouldn't be too expensive either.

Chris in all honesty without taking the **** having seen the vehicle briefly and as much as I hate to see things broken it's going to cost you a lot more to get it near roadworthy let alone reliable.

Honestly you would be better off stripping it get 600 or 700 for parts and the do the same with your other disco and buy one for around £1600 mark in a far better condition honestly it will save you £1000's and grief in he long run.
