Can anyone tell me how to remove my viscuss fan from my 300 tdi ???

get a big spanner, can't remember the size but viscous spanners are available from halfords for a few quid.

hold the pulley and undo the nut. I think its left hand thread, been a while since i took one off

yup, its a left hand thread, i borrowed one of the special spanners off a mate to do mine, hold the fan blade and hit the spanner with a hammer, piece o ****, they sell em on ebay

A big hammer and a long screwdriver works pretty well Cheaper than any shop I know of.

32mm "special" as in thin to get kin in there,I made one by welding a bit of thin steel up.

Trade lads use a long 3/8" drive socket extension with a blow with a large hammer. left hand thread on a 300tdi. But thin long spanner size is 32mm, for the purists out there!!!
