MOT passed today :)
I fitted the rear door with new stainless nuts and bolts. Measured and drilled the holes for the hinges. The door is now removed and painted in my garage. I'll fit it tomorrow then fit the rubber seal. Hopefully it will be dry. Heres a link to the door I purcahsed if anyone is interested eBay Door
Piccies tomorrow i hope
Cheers L.

Then added the cover -

I then attempted to add a slight tint to the rear glass for a bit more security. It all went wrong! The tint stripped the paint from around the inside of the rear door. I'm pretty ****ed off about it. Looks like im going to have to take the cover off and touch up the paint around the window tomorrow. Needless to say the tint spray is now in the bin. Ive learned one lesson at least.

Afternoon lucifus, what have you used for the insulation there? is it good stuff? Was wanting to fully do my TD5 110 to quieten it down a little

Carpeted the inside of the roof and repainted the rear door inside with a brush though. Also waxolyed the inside of the door to future proof it and carpeted the final panel.

Looks good, I'd also like to know where you got the insulation as I think I've gotta redo the roof on my 90 sometime. Just use contact adhesive with it?

insulating stuff link

This is the stuff I used for those interested. This big one did the roof and rear door with some left. I'll probably buy a smaller pack to finish the sides. Carpet was from ebay. The insulation is basically foil covered bubble wrap. All materials are non absorbent and rot free.

Some more artistic photos taken in the mist :)
I'm not going to do any more painting this year. The plan is to see how the roof holds up over the winter. I hope ive painted it to a standard where it will last (unlike the rest of the paint lol). A proper rub down followed by the whole roof being primered then top coated should hopefully pay off. If it still looks this good next summer then I'll prep and paint the rest of the vehicle.

Amazing truck!! Love the work :) where abouts did you get all the exmoor matting from? Really finishes off the interior.

I think I ordered it via cradocks. It's good but considering the money I'm not sure if I would order again. I think there may be cheaper options.
