Hi I'm not 100% sure what's happened yet but I have patches of fuel on the floor under my car and the engine is covered in the stuff, not having any tools with me at lunch I wasn't really able to see much

all looks dry along the injectors and bleed pipe so i presume it's coming from the pump - anything that is common issues to look for on these? and can I strip and repair or is it new pump time?

let you know more or upload pics tomorrow as I'm sure it will be dark when I get home

If it's not the leak off pipes, check the return pipe to the FIP, check the fuel filter. I assume it's diesel?

Yes it's diesel, will do soon as I'm back from having eye test

Ideally and if its safe (i.e. how much fuel is being lost) you want to look under the bonnet with the engine running to identify where the problem is. It could be a split pipe, or bad connection to/from fuel filter or it could be more serious from the FIP....
