Hi guys I had spoke about changing my fuel filter to turboman so hence the FAO,

This was a new filter in March took it off today and emptied content into a hug and see what I found inside ....

I'm guessing it's diesel bug

It's not water it's formed a perfect circle and the underneath of it looks like thousand tapeworms interlocked into one another

Is that what you think it is it's like the white of a egg all slimy I never use biofuel and haven't done since I changed the filter in March

Where do you buy your fuel.

Some places have up to 6 or 7% in....im looking at you mr tesco im fairly certain its why my car runs like a bag of spanners on tescos fuel and consistantly gets lower mpg.

Biofuel has a lower calorific value than real diesel also and grows diesel sludge in filters much easier

Top drive is right Mart! Most diesel has a percentage of biofuel nowadays.

Only just got to this, but we talked about it on the phone anyway.
Im not certain that is diesel bug, that usually turns the fuel black. But it is something, maybe a fungus, maybe a bacterial growth. and you really want to get rid asap. Might be best to remove the tank and swill out with petrol, we could try and rinse through the lines a bit as well, and change the filter again. That should knock it down a bit, and additive should kill off any remaining organisms before they can breed again.

I never use tescos and my local bulk fuel supplier told me it's got no biodiesel so I'm not sure what it could be so ill get some cleaner and maybe stick 5ltrs of unleaded in with 45 litres of diesel give it a bit of a clean out
