Ello all.
Might be getting a 02 reg disco at the weekend roughly 180k on the clock. It will be a 160 mile trip driving it home all on the motorway sadly around London. Any pointers on what I should look out for driving it back (not the cars around me for you jokers!) Apparently its had all work done to it that go tits up on them, New air bags, injector harness and seal, fuel regulator assembly. Any thing else that might feckk up nd I can recognise from driving??

Any kinds of knocks from steering/suspension/wheels/exhaust. Any whistling from exhaust/inlet manifolds, any tramlining at different speeds (wheels might need balancing or tracking adjusted, or tyres replacing). Any vibration at different speeds.

All the things I can think of right now. Good luck and hope you got a good un.

Fuel lines can rub through & also worth replacing the oil pulley pump bolt as a precaution as some came from the factory without threadlock on & work loose.

Regard`s, Dan

ACE if its there make sure it works, as its all to common these days for them to just add a smaller belt and remove the pulley then program it out.
