Tried to pressure wash it out but hey hardly have any pad left..... looks like another job, never done one before... so here goes........ will pop down to the motor factors tomoz, and my tyre has gone in for repair, small side wall prick, so had an intertube put in.

So you can now add on to the list a set of front and rear pads as well....lol

Your not wrong there Goonarmy, just will have to keep a set in for replacements..... but its worth the fun, lol, and to see my boy panic about going up a hill, it made me laugh.

the big hill?Did that after 4 attempts
Theres one by the entrance(it were blocked off last time i went) that has winch posts.I drove down it with wangie46 watching. Got to the bottom sed you coming, the reply was **** that, though you were gonna roll it!:eek:
 
Didn't know about the puncture.
Just picked up a start motor ftom Witham then the astra decided to blow its wiper fuse. As well as the two spare i had.
Scary driving down the a12 in heavy rain without wipers. :lol:

Had a go at a coupe of big hills meself. Was a little un-nerving lol.
 
Disco's still going wrong after the weekend:mad::eek::doh:, I got a rumble in the top front of my engine, Put a screw driver on the water pump, and around the area, and the nosie is deff coming from the pump, sopse I got to do that as well.

So heres the list

1 tyre - Now with innertube in
Front and Rear Break Pads
Number Plate
Water Pump.

So the sunday of fun has cost me...... too much.....so what what a day:D:D:D:D:D:D
 
Doh! My tensioners been louder than usual since Sunday.
Replaced my starter motor yesterday. Just gotta get some jump leads as i killed the battery.
 
The joy of landrover ownership.

I have to take the handbrake drum off to find a brake fluid leak and change the shoes. Then take all the wheels off to clean and check the brakes all round. Then the belts need changing and the alternator is noisy so i best check that out at the same time.

Then it will be time for a cuppa, or a beer if anyone fancys a quick one this weekend.

ermmmmm yeah the joy;), never ending list of bits and pieces.

Got me pads, Plates, order me pump tomorow, if me blocks turn up may do the pads and them tomoz.

may be up for a drink this weekend but it's abusy one for me.

We should look at a xmas one, a few lanes and a lunch somewere, (make a big muddy patch in the carpark):D
 
Aye Landrover ownership is fun.
I'm working all weekend so can't come help. Gonna have to think about ordering new parts for mine at somepoint.

Hmmmmmm. It could be possible.

As long as we can camp out and cook outdoors to keep costs down. we could even rope in some co drivers to share the costs as well.

I'm liking that idea a lot.

ill be up for that, a bit of camping and barbee in the great outdoors not forgeting some great laning will hopefully have done a 200tdi conversion on the old girl by then as well
