Cheers Chris, just downloaded the photobucket app :) so will try using that from now on! she is a good truck, just need a few things doing, like egr removed & de-cat pipe and turbo/fuelpump tweaking. . top speed is 65 mph ( a bit embarrassing lol

Looks pukka mate! bit weird it only doing 65 tho????

next week when its taxed! (its off the road at the mo) I have caster correct steering arms! do I need them or can I sell them??

I think you mean caster corrected radius arms.... ill pop round and see what ya got and give ya a bit of advice.

Bit of advice from the more mechanically minded regarding crankshaft pulley, probably going to take me a couple of days as I don't have the correct LR tools and will have to make bits to hold and undo all the bolts, take out rad etc borrow a huge torque wrench ( or grow some huge biceps) is it best to bite the bullet and buy a new one, have seen them on eBay for 300 don't know what make, or been offered a used one which will probably be 75 delivered, or take it to indie LR garage to fit genuine one and hand over £700.

I would be tempted on the good used one, as mikey said a good used genuine one 'could' be as good as a new cheaper brand one.

Anyone around Saturday morning? Thinking I'm gonna be too knackered during the week to get the 'Fender MOT-able so thinking do it in the morning and it tested in the afternoon.

I'll be going to see nick about some bits then to Jons to collect a boot floor in Colchester.

What do you need?

If it was me i would probably fit a good second hand one because it would most likely be a genuine part, and they are not really that common to go.

You will also need ERR5992 which is your front seal as it may leak with a different pulley and not worth the risk for how easy it is to change.

If you pick one up and need it fitted feel free to give me a bell and we can fit it down the workshop i have all the tools and dryness you need

I'll take you up on that offer of a dry work space, got a used pulley on its way and will order up the seal. Im quiet at work next week so can do anytime apart from wednesday morning. You sure you got space, see chris is doing bits to his dont want to get in the way,

Motivation I imagine. Gonna go straight there from a 12 hour night shift lol.

Geoff don't worry about me, even if the Defender is still there it can be driven out to work on yours and put back in after.

Well, I will need to get back home to load my trailer and truck up for the Newbury show on Sunday, but I guess a little last minute rush is the norm for me so will do that Saturday evening. :)

All this rain and no snorkel :(
How can they justify the price. Need to get some parts sold and get one ordered ASAP, along with the springs, ext brake hoses, winch bumper and sliders.

Ive just emailed RST again for prices but they still havent replied. Looks like ill have to shop elsewhere! All i want to do is buy some bits LOL
