Have you tried looking for Safari replica snorkel on Ebay? I got one for the Disco (never used and is for sale lol) at nearly a third of the price of an offical one. Really good quality too.

Well I'll be down the barn from around 9ish I reckon. Give me 4 hours to hit as many things as I can with the hammer............

They seem to have fixed heads and I would prefer to be able to reverse the air ram.
 
Looks OK, but I need one for a 200 tdi (fits on the NS).
Says they sell them but nothing listed on their shop, so I've messaged them.
Would prefer one without an exposed flexible liner but at that price its a no brainer.
 
Cheers mate, found it whilst glued to the for sale forums on my week off.
Need to arrange my own security too asap, thinking about a steering lock or pedal box maybe
 
Guys, ive just spent £300 on bulkhead bits i need. One last item is part number 505205. John Craddocks sell it for £1.60, LR Direct (who seem to be cheaper than anyone else on most things) dont list it, and Britcar want £26 Can anyone look it up on the parts system to check what it is? Craddocks say its 'BOLT ON LUCAR BLADE TERMINAL 9/32 ID HOLE (505205)' and Britcar just say its a Connector.
Can anyone shed any light?

Was bored today so I decided to give my new spray gun that I bought at billing ago, decided to paint the wheels in hamerite gloss black, think they came out ok

Quotes it as an earth Connection luca blade what ever that is ;) is there any letters before the part no?
 
no just that according to the parts catalogue. That site says £0.59p How can they vary so much lol
 
Also hinges. Theres early and late TD5 style. They say the TD5 ones fit all models. So what do i do. Get early or late lol

Depends how much you want to spend mate they should all fit, you can also get billet aluminium ones but think they are about £180 a set;)
 
Yeah. The difference between early and lates £12. Ill just get early ones. Theyll rust in no time anyway lol

I bought my snorkel from paddocks for about £70, it's decent quality as well, bolts straight on...
 
I'm looking to change mine some time Nick. It keeps coming away from the wing, if I was you I'd look for a southdown.
 
Took the 110 for a drive. First right hand turn and a mass of water come in just above passenger door. I think it ran along the gutter and found a route in between the door and roof. Then the dash lights went out and then the radio stopped working (no signal).
I know I shouldn't complain, especially when Geoff has a lot bigger issues, but.... I'm finding this car difficult to love.
