Ive seen this pikey type about, trying to sell landys or buying vin no's off the local landy breaker. What is on his card, did it have a land line phone no.
Well I can also go in the van if need be? In fact I might anyway for cb usage. You got youres in yet? You gonna hard wire it somewhere?
Well that was another **** day..... Stu came round and did a bit of grinding + we cut some more holes in the ****ing thing. Then I got the n/s side floor panel in. Got o/s arch to repair then I'll be able to get that panel in followed by the main floor section.
Slow job and a **** job
On the bright side (if ever there was one)..... One less bit to do :hippie:
Anyone fancy a trip up to Debenham ford followed by a few lanes. Could be combined with a few hours of maintenance before hand?
What does that much welding equipment mean in monetary terms?
I would imagine welding wire and gas ain't cheap.
I've got family shopping duties today, looking for sofas. If I let my missus go off on her own I've only myself to blame when a pink suite turns up.
Will be popping up to see Drizz later and finish off a couple of jobs on the landy.
sounds like you all having fun today, I am off to see the kids today, they are all out shopping this morning, so I oppted to see them about 10, I HATE SHOPPING.....
Last eve got my rear carpets in ok the boot one looks a bit singg'd where the grinding sparks went to take the load anchors off, but it make it more presentable, lol then just a metal black floor, Battery now clamped in, a loan Indicator in, checked the levels, just need to add a bit of coolant to the header tank, so hopefully it will go through the MOT tomoz morning.
If you have John down there, he'll pass it no problems
If there was something wrong with it, it would have fallen to bits by now
As I haven't got any work at the moment, you could pop over for your de-cat. I am aiming to have mine sorted for thurs/fri and back on the road as I have a few meetings next week that I need to get to.
And a random note for anyone repairing a Disco...... I have used 18kg of welding wire so far and 3 cylinders of gas, and I am not finished That did including Stu's botches to his but even still
