How about trying to nail a Wales trip down, who's up for it and when is a good time, how long for, etc. October/November time is probably time to aim for.Don't think we have any bank holidays after August.

Thanks, got the new 68mm stainless pipe put on but the one on there at the moment is 72mm (last time i listen to you and Stu regarding sizes) so had to do a bit of fiddling to get it sorted but its on now and looks a bit more bling.
May change the top from mushroon type to a southdown looking one if i can find one cheap enough. saw them advertised at 70 quid just for the top.

Seems strange that your's was wider :confused:

Where did you get the stainless pipe from? And it should be 64/65mm :rolleyes:
 
i really really really want to do a wales trip, just dont know if ill have a Landy then! Looking for a 90 now but dunno if i can bring myself to sell the BMW. During the week when i dont use it i want it gone, but like tonight when i do drive it i love it! Spose i could have a really good go at getting the 110 built lol or buy a cheap disco before we go and sell it when i get back...

The only reasons I say November is I prob got to save for it, due to job, and its more likely to be muddy, :D:D:D:D.

Plus its easier to arrange a group with a bit more notice , its also outside the holiday period as well.

Plucked a date out the air how about 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st Nov 2011?.

Staying in a bunk house, so no tents, beds, warmth, showers kitchens ect.
 
i emailed a B&B that specialised in Green Lane tours. She stays at home and gets the dinners ready, whilst we follow him round in his landy all week!

know how you feel, the same when i drive my A6, but i drive the 90 far more than the audi, if you only drive the beemer weekends sell it you will soon forget it,get a 90 and put luxury driving behind you forever.
 
I could have helped you out there. I was walking the dog 3-4 months ago & found one laying in a bush, it's now in my shed with dust on it.

Thanks Nick would love to come along, are the lanes your planning to use fairly easy as my disco is standard aprt from ATs all round dont want to damage it lol , can you post details of where you are all meeting and times ect Thanks, Steve.
 
Don't worry we usually use my Disco to "widen" paths if required lol.
