Just back from Kent an hour ago.

Picked up these beauties, for the token sum of £50 :D :D They sell for £50 a piece lol

Just waiting for the 2 rear outer wheel arches to arrive and it'll all be gravy or whatever they say now :)

Also, I've tracked down some stainless plate, when that arrives I'll make up my damper relocation parts. I am thinking of fitting a Terrafirma defender RTC damper...... just waiting on Geoff's feedback (hint, hint :D).

All the way to Kent for some RSJ's? could'nt you have got them locally.
RTC damper on order will let you know how it performs.

You cheeky begger..... They're YRM panels for my sills    :D

Got my steering relocation bracket fabbed up today..... one of the few things I've really managed to do in a few hours :) Made it from 5mm passivated steel in the end - found half a sheet in the office so it cost me 4 bolts, 8 washers and 4 nuts

Will fit it tomorrow after work

Really hoping for some laning soon :(

I'm still hoping to have a full day laning on Saturday 18th June (subject to lift kit arriving and being fitted in time).
For those that havent seen the earlier post was hoping to combine some / most of the route we did just after xmas + Terling & Easter ford.
All day event - all welcome, especially those with the route pre programmed in MM :D

Yes thanx all we did have a good day, but if you guys invited me over i would come its always nice to do lanes you havent done before and meet new people, so thats why i posted here cheers Steve

Welcome to join us on the 18th. keep an eye on the thread.
Regards Nick.

Think setting up a date for laning is a good idea, give us all something to aim for. Personally need to change my gearbox more than anything else.
Then its fit light bar and sort out niggles. As you all know I don't like changing anything till its fallen off. :D

Is the 18th good for you Chris?
If Tiny is not ready you are welcome to tag along with me (as is anyone else), unless of course my Disco is still in bits and then I'll be looking for a free ride!

awfully quiet on here over the last few days, you all ill with cucumber poisoning .

Got back from Cornwall last night. Had a great week playing on the waves / having fun with the family. Avoided the green stuff and stuck to the beer and pasties :)

By the way looks like I got a new Job from Tuesday.... if the paperwork goes thro, on courier work but full time temp for 8 weeks more money tho, and it might turn perm.....

Really pleased for you mate. Hope it works out.

Mines still just a chassis, but been looking at TD5 90's that i might be able to swap/ P/ex the BMW for.....

Very nice.
Thats what I would like, but I fear thats will be yeeeears off.

Well I'm working nights next week so that probably doesn't give me an excuss NOT to get on with sorting the Landy out.
Anyone free to operate the engine crane?

Oh and mate did a very quick and rough photoshop of my truck in olive green and matt black. At the moment black is winning. :D

Sounds interesting, but I am probley going to do the SLROC camp over/driving day at newbourne that weekend. You may find that most of those tracks/ruts are going to be like Rock.......

But have now got a route worked out in the Bury/Thetford area, that needs verifiing, TRO's are checked, just need to do it to see if its a route on the ground. its about 40miles long in total, looks to be all flatish track.

So if anyones interested we could try to make that a day, find some where to have lunch may be stop at West Stow Anglo Saxon Viaalge for a couple of hrs as well about lunch time........maybe a good family outing as well.

West Stow Country Park and Anglo-Saxon Village

Just an idea......

Bury/Thetford day sounds great.
Just checked the calendar. Can I suggest Saturday 23rd July?
Does that work for everyone?

Re the camp over/driving day, it does sound good & I would like to get a involved in some club events but I'm busy on the Sunday which is the driving day. I really want to do some driving / lanes (its been ages!) so I'm going to try the xmas route again (60 miles).

If anyone is interested in joining me, please let me know so i can arrange times / meeting points etc.

Hi Nick I will be up for a day out on the 18th providing nothing else falls of in the mean time. will ask James if he fancies it either in his 90 or as a passenger if he takes his, anyone is welcome to the passenger seat in mine.
Don't know if Wangie's motor will be finished but sure he will fancy a day out.

I will not be able to make that at the mo , as i'll be at the next camp over on the 30th/31st July driving day and SLROC open day at newbourne so will have to see the girls the weekend bfore, I got edward coming all weekend on that one with a couple of his mate's on the saturday as its his birthday the week before.

June 19th is a driving day, and will be doing that.

25th and 26th June are the West suffolk fair at roughtham and SLROC are giving ride agian for chairty, I volentired for that as well.... so June for me is getting busy,

July 30th is the SLROC openday/camp weekend, and i will be doing that so

i was thinking about maybe 17th July for the Thetford one.

Yup, I'll be doing next Rougham event, also camp over at Newbourne for driver training day and driving day.

Any other days that don't clash really with what Stu just posted is good.

Just won a bid on ebay for a used 5' T.max high lift jack for £24, round the corner from where i am working next week, so i am happy, until tomorrow when i have to pay for the bits i have on order.
Next question where do i house it on a 90.

I think it'd be suited better on my dog guard

Am I right in thinking you've got a guard in yours? If so, plonk it on there.
