Think setting up a date for laning is a good idea, give us all something to aim for. Personally need to change my gearbox more than anything else.
Then its fit light bar and sort out niggles. As you all know I don't like changing anything till its fallen off. :D

Thanks for the Info this morning Chris, I disconnected the Oil Presure sensor reconnected it , it seems to be ok now, oil level is all ok as well, so it must have been a dicky connection.

Cheap result there then!

Oh Brian you still got a headlining? The puppy from Mazz's pun decided mine would make an excellent chew toy.

Off work today, doing my drop arm ball joint, when will all the repais stop, and no i am not buying a Rice Burner, lol.

Had to cut mine off last time. Just replaced the ball joint over weekend, arm came off easy this time as I covered the thread in grease when it was done last. bit of a bugger getting the circlip in though. All i have to do now is replace swivel pin bearings on both sides and fit new terrafirma HD steering rods and RTC steering damper and i'm back on the road.
Happy days!!!

In other news. I've made a template for my steering damper relocation brackets. Just got to cut them out, bend one and get it all fixed on.

Not sure whether to go for stainless steel or powder coat  Stainless hopefully providing I can find some 6mm stainless plate.

Anyway, off down to Kent now to collect my new sill parts. got YRM inner and outers for a decent price :D I gave up fabricating some in the end as the guillotine blade was no where near sharp enough to shear the dam steel

I've dome some reading about the Tarantular Steering damper that I was talking about getting, but not sure now.

Steering Guard / Steering Bar Protectors & Damper Relocation Kit - £35.00 : Tarantula 4x4, eXtreme Off Road Engineering

Have been reading about the the kit supplied by Glenn Lewis and read some good reports so may go for the relocation kit then the Sumo Bars when i got the money.

Suspension

Looking at the rest of the things he does, I also thinking about having a set of radius arms done as well.

front radius arms

By the way looks like I got a new Job from Tuesday.... if the paperwork goes thro, on courier work but full time temp for 8 weeks more money tho, and it might turn perm.....

Well done Stu, who's it with?

Thinking of ordering a tank guard from Rock-Slider on here, has a removable tow hitch so can cut off my anchor put still tow with it when needed.
Also quite tempted get a polybush set as keep hearing that they make a massive difference to handling on raised trucks.
Finally really wanting to sort out the bodywork, looking at shortening my bumper mounts to bring them closer to the truck thus increasing my approach and detarture angles as well as fit my defender arches and start designing and bull bar and heavy duty light bar.

Nice one Stu. Things seem to be coming good for most people at the moment. And the sun is shining. Bonus. :)

Mines still just a chassis, but been looking at TD5 90's that i might be able to swap/ P/ex the BMW for.....
