Sorry to poke me nose in, but have been following this thread in the hope of finding an answer to my eas problem
Just had new airbags fitted last year and it’s been fine.but due to a cooling problem it has only been doing short journeys and now it seems to be struggling to settle on a setting, bottom light (tail gate light constantly on) third light flashing.
However it doesn’t seem to happen when the boot is empty....usually has two big dogs and a wheelchair in.
Any help appreciated.
Sorry, 4.6 petrol (LPGconversion) 2001
Lack of pressure from the compressor, probably worn out feeding leaks in your old airbags. Take a look at Wammers guide in the tech archive and check the compressor output.Sorry to poke me nose in, but have been following this thread in the hope of finding an answer to my eas problem

Is that all doors or just one?Still not got to the bottom of why mine doesn't get the 'door open' signal. I've checked the white connectors in the passenger side A pillar and they seem good, no corrosion
All doors i believe, including tailgate. The interior light comes on when you open the doors and you get the dash 'key in ignition message' when you open drivers door too, as appropriate, so that side seems okIs that all doors or just one?

You should not get the "key in ignition" message when you open the door. The little key in detection flap in the ignition lock is sticking and there lies your problem. All doors i believe, including tailgate. The best that can e said about that is that it's ambiguous. So you have a fault between the BECM and the EAS ECU.Did too
