4704 is the no good one from island so I can crack on with the passenger side then.:).
The pipes looked bad glancing underneath and were an MOT advisery just before Duchess was laid up 4/5 yrs ago. Once they were off they didn't look rotted, more peeling and bubbly coating so, yes, maybe they have been replaced with OE at some point.

The pipes? Yeah, they were original, same coating as under the bonnet, sort of green coloured, and the bends were machine made.
I ask which side is which because I can rebuild one side with the britpart hose that has all the brackets/banjo bolt whilst waiting for the other britpart one to arrive. The britpart one ive got says left hand on it so rather than trying to work out which side it appears to fit best thought I'd ask here which is the left/right when viewing duchess.
So I can build up the passenger side if yer right...right:D

Left is always your left when sat in the driver's seat.

More delays..short jumper brake hoses don't come with the horseshoe clips, 2 per side short of them so just ordered a pack orf eBay. One off the M6 bolts holding the long brake hose lower mounting bracket broke off despite plus gas and heat, no room to drill it out I don't think, just had a cuppa then I'll go and have another look/think.

Got it out, cleaned the thread up, M6 tap, and used a stainless steel bolt to fit the new hose plate, one curly wurly brake pipe fitted just got to wait for paddocks before I can box the other side up. I'll replace the rear hubs, calipers etc while I'm waiting.

Which way up have you got your cup washers on your shocks -(-)- or -)-(- they should be the latter i cant quite make it out in the pic.

I'd done the fronts wrong too, sorted them but to do the rears I need to jack up the back end off the tow bar which means me being outside and it's tipping it down so that can wait.
Got on with building up the passenger side hub to completion, can't finish the driver's side until paddocks delivery arrives. Wierd why they list brake hoses as 'special order 2/3 days', but exhausts as a 'stock item ready for despatch'. Surely brake hoses would be fast moving items, not braided just standard rubber ones anorlo_O.
Anywhoo, new hub to axle bolts, carrier bolts, brake hose, caliper and pads, reused the disc which had no wear at all and the abs sensor which removed easily, fitted a new sensor cage though as I had new ones left over from doing the fronts.
