Im always amased by how they dobt rust from the inside outhigh horsepower and reliability from marine engines is made more achievable by pretty much unlimited availability of coolant

What do you mdan by oiler? The engine as a whole?
Im not masavly fussed as to what goes into it tbh.
I quits like the td5 thats in it if it wasnt for some steep hills.
The main draw to the vw/audi powerlant is that its there sitting at my dads and free.
Theres also some advantage to it being fhe same engine that is in my dads toureg so spares parts on the shelf.
But the ecu issue might kill the project. Ive contacted a range of ecu buders progrMmers and tuners hopefully some or all of them will provide valuable information.
Cheers.
