I have, once - and I was truly amazed at how capable and competent it is off-road.
My P38 is mainly used as a run-around about town only, for which it is properly brilliant - nice comfortable ride, pretty good stereo, handles speed-bumps just great (I've stopped slowing down for them altogether now), great A/C, heated screen and seats, easy to get in and out of and of course that very nice view and as mine is a 4.6 it is pretty nippy too. And if the young lads in their Corsas really insist on arguing over that bit of road they are welcome to do so should they so choose - I think I know who'd come of worse.
It is amazing, and very apparent compared with when driving my other main car where this doesn't happen, how other drivers appear to assume a P38 will be rather sluggish, and that they frequently get surprised when it is not. My driving style can probably be described as a bit 'enthusiastic'. Even though I very rarely exceed the speed limit by any significant amount I tend to make darn sure I arrive at is as quickly as is possible.
The one improvement it could do with is parking sensors though, I have a set to be fitted to the rear bumper as soon the worst of the cold has passed.
For motorway work and spirited country driving I use a BMW 740i which is properly quick but a very, very different vehicle altogether, and I very rarely encounter other drivers expecting that one to be sluggish.
