Hi peep's had some trouble last week when a river bank burst and left me in deep water. Got towed out and left disco (series 2 td5 )to dry, took ECU and air filter out to dry for a day and disco started off key no prob now iv got a whining noise, when i change gear it gets louder Any idears would be a great help

water in the gearbox mixed with the oil needs draining and fresh oil for a start

time for a fluid change in the diffs and the gearbox and tranny i think bud, how long was it sat in deep water for?

Was only swimmin for bout 5 mins . Sum1 said i might have done a piston in ? is that pos????

as stated id also do the diffs transfer box and engine oil aswell just to get yerself up to speed with when they were all last serviced or changed just to be on the safe side

No i dont wasn't off roading. Was that storm last week was on way to work when bank burst and flooded road. But think might b a good idear the weather we havin . Thanks
