hiya
that’s great you’ve resolved the issue as just read ur other post ref the EGR
indeed my MAP sensor was also the same before blanking my egrs , I just used some contact cleaner but indeed things like brake fluid etc are ok, i Used a small pick very carefully to remove the build up ensuring not to touch the small sensor at the bottom of the hole
assume u done the same on cleaning the hole out very carefully on the map sensor
also if it helps the first pic is ur MAF and second pic is ur MAP , as the egrs are now blanked the Map sensor will stay a lot cleaner , I removed mine after a year and found it very clean
Before blanking the throttle body , egr pipes and inlet manifold fill up with all the carbon
also have to ensure when there blanked to remove the butterfly valve inside the throttle body, need to put the pin back in , seen a few posts where that’s been forgotten in situ
I even smoke tested my intercooler system as I was trying to find errors that were showing air leaking , found them in the end at the egr pipes where it connects to the throttle body and also at the turbo and air turbo intake pipe , that was a right nightmare to replace the small turbo hose
the turbo actuator arm can and does stick, when the ign is turned off theres A software that motors the turbo actuator arm back and forth to prevent it from sticking , i greased all mine up
hope that helps and once again really chuffed it’s been resolved , plus with that Map sensor now nice and clean it should be more responsive
lastly when u get chance ref diagnostics u can check all of the sensors via live data , so handy to have
