Yes its an age problem stchris356 there are small nylon rollers/sliders in the tracks and the arm that lifts the glass and they wear or more likely break as they become brittle as mine did. Spares are unavailable and u would have to take the roof apart to fit them if they were, so bit the bullit and replace the sunroof and the one I got from ebay was newer than the original

Have u tried a dab of grease on the sliders?
