It only shows their alternators fitted to the petrol variants of the p38
 
Point I was making was that a quick search on Google turned up the valeo parts catalogue with exploded views etc.
That said, looking at it on my phone, I can clearly see the part he needs but it doesn't appear to have a part number. It looks almost like its part of the rear cover or possibly the rectifier but it's not obvious which.
My rubbish eyes aren't good enough.
I did try to upload the catalogue but couldn't on my phone. I'll try later on the laptop.

Diesel is different, I think. Certainly less output than the 4.6.

Got mine off BMW as it was much cheaper than Land Rover - that was a surprise! Damned if I can remember or find the part number though. Mine's definitely Valeo though.

I also found that and no part number indicated. But it's shown separated from the diode pack in the diagram. I removed it by undoing a single 8mm nut.
The broken wire post has 2 connectors soldered to it's base.
May be a used parts guy can help.
