looks like its going to be a fun day so far i will make sure av got a few straps and that my winch works all good p.s expect to be pulling me out i got stuck on stanage twice on rocks there was 2 mins btween the first time i got unstuck and second time i got stuck lol

well my radios stuck on channel none existant lol. but u'll be fine in standard disco storm, i've done a few (mainly roych clough) in standard before, not even a tyre upgrade.

iv just got 2 maps from camping shop os explorer orange 1s large scale with the public right of ways marked on 0L1 and OL24 covers peaks

Castleton Visitor Centre

Buxton Road, Castleton, Hope Valley, S33 8WN

approx 6 hours actual driving, approx 50 miles.

we'll do bamford, stanage, houndkirk etc etc.

its a good route, stanage being the only case for serious concern but theres plenty of tight stuff and axle twisters elsewhere to keep y'all entertained too.

Oh and another thing, I'll try to arrive early this time so we have more time to brew up! Ill have the kettle on as soon as i arrive, so bring a mug and tea/coffee whatever if you want a brew before the off. Good chance to have a chat before we hit the road you see
