Its not so much the horsepower rather than the huge torque that it will produce. Maybe around 800-900 lb/ft.....
I intend to use the ZF 5-speed box, as ive been told its a little more modern/smooth than the Dana box. I may contact a few transmission specialists to see if they can use uprated bearings etc. I HATE autos so that will definately be out of the question.
Axles will end up beind Dana 60's i would imagine.

I just sold one of those boxes :p very lightweight boxes and compact too for what they are

An LT95 is whats in the other 6bt but you may as well fit the correct box for the engine

Will i be able to attach these to the LT230 though?
I may have just sourced a 210HP motor. The version that already has the bigger injectors, P-pump and HX35W turbo and bottom-end girdle!

You need a np 205 divorced transfer box or buy from the states a drivetrain package of axles props engine and box then re engineer you chassis to fit and fit a triangulate droll cage to give torsional strength
Give me a bucket of money and I'll sort it

NP205 is direct mounted to the NV4500 I think or at least to one of the NV boxes. Only divorce mounted on the Muncie if I remember right

Surely you'd be better off doing what I'm doing and building from scratch if you're wanting such a silly engine

what is wrong with a automatic ? your zf5 will be mashed potatoes.

ZF made some of the Pinzgaur boxes and various medium truck boxes, one of them would be fine

Plus this is the only reason you need not to fit an auto (other than them being ****)

Yeah. If only. If i had buckets of money the conversion would be easy. Its trying to do it on a relatively tight budget that makes it tricky

Welcome to my world then ;) buy cheap indestructible parts and do 90% of the work yourself

Only stuff I'm paying for to be done are a couple of the larger metal pieces I don't have the ability to cut at home due to lack of a big enough pillar drill and the wheel adaptors

Your lack of knowledge about american auto boxes used in pickups and suv.s is when you say that. You see that 10 second 1200hp ford? auto box in it he could of never seen that 10 second with a manual trans, and look at the of road racers auto's and drag racers 4 sec 1/4 mile with 5000hp auto box again.

He's not making a racer.......plus they're still queer gears

dosen't need to be a racer. with high torque in 4x4 auto will let you apply the power to the ground in a more sensible manner with a auto. Far more reliable the a manual trans, If they are maintained
