well its rusty for sure but its ex mod for sure as well its got the thicker leaves on the back that were used on mod vehicles so its ex mod
ok a couple of you have claimed it's ex-mod, this is not quite correct but it does have military history, exactly what history i'm unsure of but the vehicle is genuinely historic and ex-military
it's a rather unusual 88" and i only know of two others on this chassis in this country (took me two years to find the other two), i know there were a minimum of ten imported in the mid eighties by one company (who i believe imported this one) and there may have been another five imported by another company
truck cabs, wings, doors, door hinges, tail gates can all be mostly ignored (as can all bodywork) when trying to decide if a vehicle is of a certain age or model, you really do need to get past superficial appearances to be sure
this truck wasn't built with a truck cab, it has been retro-fitted along with S3 wings and front panel, a deluxe dished bonnet and S3 door hinges, i also bought it with a set of 5" rims wearing 6.00x 16 tyres rather than the correct size 5.5" rims and 7.50 x 16 tyres
yes it is my truck, i have researched it, spent quite a while researching it to learn what it is and where from
i'm just wondering how knowledgable folks here are when identifying these old motors rather than jumping the gun and making assumptions
