Fantastic news :D

Nice one Rick, and a final well done to you Rob for sticking with it. Now go enjoy :D

It is nice to get a happy ending to end a good story. Glad you kept the faith and didn't weigh her in. Welcome to the running Range Rovers club. :D

Thank God.

I would of looked a right Idiot.
Be honest, how brown were your pants at the thought it wouldn't fire up?

A fitting end to what has been an epic battle of man against machine.
So pleased you stuck with it and didn't take her to the scrap yard. I have followed this thread from the start and have had everything crossed for you fella.
This forum and it's members are awesome :praise:

Su-feckin-perb mate :clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

I did say first turn of the key.

What a team well done all who contributed, especially doug and rick.

I've been moved to write an ode.

First the music. Might need a little tidying up if it is going to be a Christmas No 1.

vuvuzela_concerto.jpg

It's written for a vuvuzela but anything will do, even a brick on a Defender wing.

Now the words.

"Rob's P38 wouldn't start
People tried to fix it
It still didn't work
Rob blew a fuse

Everybody tried to help
It still wouldn't start
People posted parts
People visited

People wrote
Rob worked hard
Nothing went right
It wouldn't start

Rick-the-Pick
Rick-the-Pick
Said he could fix it
That's what he said

Rob was going to burn it
But sent the bad bit to Rick-the-Pick
Then he waited
And everybody else waited.

Rick-the-Pick fixed it
And sent it back to Rob
Rob's car works again
Rick-the-Pick fixed it"

There's a bit of work to do on the rhyming, scanning, meter and stuff like that but I think that it might be a goer.

Who cares? The car lives!

G~

Good for you mate, cheers for not braking her. :clap2:
Rick..your the man, nice effort, a toast from the Guinness girl.
