ive a feeling its not the boxes to be honest i think its still on the car the problem hope im wrong like...

Post the RANGE ROVER down to me rob, royal Mail. to be honest if it was here i could do more and spend more time on it, i beleve there is a simple brake in a wire as near all other parts have now been tried with no joy, i dont mind parking it here for as long as it takes to trace the culprit. if all else fails let me know. :)

.
Guessing just wait a little while longer for Rick.
Then to plan "B" for Doug.
A 4 wheel trailer can be hired for £40 for 24 hours.
Sure it's going to have a decent fuel cost, and your going to be shifting totally close on 5 tones.
2 x vehicles at 2000kg, and a 1000kg trailer.

Gra.

What a great crew you guys have aboard here.:clap2: This forum is top drawer.
I just read every page and it inspired me to tell the GF to p-ss off and quit wining about our P-38 not turning over and sitting for just a week.;)

You will get sorted, hang in there buddy.

Cheers

Hang in there Rob.

Frustrating though it must be, it will be worth it (I know many have said that and it's hard to believe when you haven't been able to drive it - and easier for us to say as we've only invested a bit of time with you, not the cash that you've put in).

You've got two offers of fusebox testing now - that can be done while waiting for Rick to get sorted. That's gotta be cheaper than buying new.

That said, there seems to be power everywhere which would suggest your box is OK (wouldn't it Saint?). I wouldn't rush to buy another :)

Cheers guys im definatley waiting to see what Rick comes back with first and see where he points me if it cant be fixed with him....

Doug i will bear that in mind mate cheers...

Trailer wise i already own a new car transporter trailer for my race car 4 wheeled ifor williams one, which will save the hiring costs trouble is the rangie was the tow car lol...

hopefully Rick will have some news this week anyways chaps...

ive been bid £1500 to take it away as is by a 4X4 breaker minus £200 collection if all else fails...

Do that and ill come up and take it while your at work, £1300 is an insult! where is he based? London? £200 to collect is more than it would cost to get it here!

Did you remember to re connect the two earth wires back under the fuse box and if you removed the plug fron the alarm siren did you re connect it? just little things that can be over looked Rob. :)

Doug the alram siren was reconnected straight away, im not sure what two earth wires you maen like i can see any Mate....

rob, silly question but these are old pictures and the right hand brown cable is tight now ,right.:)

Rodntod - yeah it was all tightend up as ive had it off again since but im going to check again anway you got me thinking like lol.....

What is confusing me is you say you shorted out the Brown Green and blew maxi fuse 2. As far as I can see on rave for a 2000 model year, Maxi fuse 2 does not feed the brown green.

cheers Doug will check mate...

Mmmmm it might of been maxi fuse one then argh my heads up my arse with this thing now like time to get shot

Rob

All I can say don't get duped into selling it on here! Just in case I work for the scales of justice it's in my blood.

What about stand alone engine management ive built 6 race cars using omex, emerald and DTA ecu's and stand alone universal harness once fitted it will have to be mapped but the outlay is big it keeps popping into m head thats all...

still awaiting results of rick first though ???

Cheers autobiography will sort those when i get the car running again if i ever do....
