No one has accused you of being a thief unless I have missed the post that did. you have been asked many times if it has springs for suspension and you have avoided answering this on more than one occasion. You have had lots of offers for help but wont accept, fair enough you dont want peeps coming round the house but just answer a few questions and we can save you money (like paying for a hpi that had no relevance to your problem).

Like i said in my first post I hope you are genuine and good luck

what a load of old ****e :D If I know a 1965 series dont look nuffink like a 90 ! with all the parts that have been changed it will never qualify for its old registration

Allocating a vehicle registration mark

The vehicle must score eight or more points to retain the original registration mark. If less than eight points are scored or a second-hand or modified chassis or altered monocoque bodyshell is used an Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA), enhanced single vehicle approval (ESVA), single vehicle approval (SVA) or motorcycle single vehicle approval (MSVA) certificate will be required to register the vehicle. A 'Q' prefix registration number will be allocated.
Scoring components

The following values will be allocated to the major components used:

* chassis or body shell (body and chassis as one unit - monocoque ie direct replacement from the manufacturer) (original or new) = 5 points
* suspension = 2 points
* axles = 2 points
* transmission = 2 points
* steering assembly = 2 points
* engine = 1 point

Where there is evidence that two vehicles have been welded together to form one (ie 'cut and shut') a 'Q' mark will be allocated, IVA, ESVA, SVA or MSVA will be required.

Come on s71!!!
That vehicle has never been anywhere near 1965!
Look at the front, the rear, the engine,suspension (pic of rear), the interior, the dash. To name but all of it!!!
The only thing from'65 is possibly the vin plate and a rear plate.

it might be from 1965, other than the wheels, brakes, suspension, chassis, bulkhead, dash, seats, rear tub, roof, rear door, cross member, front doors, bonnet, wings, grill, engine, gear box, transfer box, lights, switches did i miss anything out? oh mirrors, windscreen.......

so basicaly we cant call it a 1965,...I get it!!!!! ..so what do we call it then? ..I just dont want the Dam thing anymore!!!!! .. I dont what else to do, I HAVE RANG POLICE AND THEY CHECKED THERE SYTEM AND SIA IT IS NOT STOLEN..ring this number Sheffield Police 01442 202020 and check by all means!!!

What you dont seem to get is the plate (which you are telling the police about) may not be stolen......but the car(Body) maybe.....Its quite easy for someone to just swap plates.

the id and the documents aint gonna be stolen,tis the vehicle that there attached to that maybe/maybe not stolen

I told all the things on here ..that everyone said the vin / chassis

I give up, we have told the police all about it and still your thinking of other things all the time,

my other half has rang and told me to get off here, as you are all just wanting a reaction from me

Right this is the last message i will post! It sstarting to get me down, and affect us! Plese feel free to say what you like about us, we know the truth, we do not have to jutify ourselves to a bunch of strangers!

HRA 459 C is not stolen.
Whatever Land Rover Defender is wearing those plates, and a VIN plate relating to that registration number, may well be stolen though.
The other alternative is that both were legitimately owned by someone, who swapped the identities, in order to avoid road tax.
Either way, anyone who buys and uses that vehicle will be breaking the law and is at risk of prosecution.
The only way you're going to legitimise it is to get an SVA check and a Q plate for it. Of course, the SVA check may reveal that it is stolen......

not happy

you can slap any plates and vin numbers on any landy.the description your numberplate gives as type of land rover does not match the land rover they are attached too...do you get that???
