talking to a bloke today and he said that the electric fuel pump thing is supposed to operate via a pressure switch so that it runs intermittently, but this don't seem to be working or it ain't got one. Does any one know anything about it.

Also today i was offered a E reg RR classic Vogue, for the sum of £100, witch gives me a few chooses:

Sort out the lightweight and the RR
Scrap the RR and use the parts to sort out the lightweight
Rebuild lightweight on RR chassis.

What would you guys suggest?

Ah would buy it anyway, you dont get much for 100 quid nowadays an a goodish rangey for that moneys not to be missed id say... bin lookin fer one myself recently..

I will probable buy it, I'll go and see the guy tomorrow.

A few supple have suggested rebuilding the lightweight on the RR chassis, as the lightweight chassis needs sum work. i would have the benefit of disc brakes, and coil springs, But i dint rely want to destroy the lightweight.

on a serious note, the lightweights will be about when the rr's knackered... and theyre expensive to fix if you need a prof mecchhy at it wi the spanners.. keep the lightweights my friend!!

I've pondered the ideas of what to do, but i still cant come to a decision.

Hypothetically what would it entail to rebuild the lightweight on the RR Chassis, I.e. chassis mods, body mods, etc.

I was discussing this very question today with the guy who purchased my spare disco chassis, he is cutting it down to 88", so we went through the trials and tribulations of what that will entail.
