a Global Machine Company 2300 Watt generator. I bought this around 2011 as an emergency power source. We bought this because, living in a rural location, and suffering many power outages over the winter with young children, caused a real problem. However shortly after buying this generator, the electric company replaced all the overhead lines. This has stopped all subsequent power failures, so this generator is now redundant. It's still as new, never run and is in its original box.#
It's empty of oil and fuel. It's only been out of the box to check it's contents.#
At the time I bought the highest spec I could get for the budget I had. So this generator has a key opperated electric starter in addition to the more normal pull start. It has a large fuel tank so should give around 12 hours out of a single fill.#
Here's a run down of its features.#
Generator#
AC Output: 240 Volts AC 50 Hz Single Phase#
Rated Power: 2000 Watts#
Peak Power: 2300 Watts#
DC Output: 12 Volts @ 8 Amps#
Engine.#
Capacity: 163 cc#
Type: 4 Stroke OHV, electric key start or pull cord start.#
Power: 5.5 Hp#
No Load: 3000 Rpm#
Fuel Type: Unleaded#
Oil Type: SAE# 30#
SPL: 76.5 Db @ 7M#
Tank Capacity: 16 Litres#
Weight (dry) 42 Kgs#
Now sold.
I would prefer collection as it's heavy and too fragile to courier.#
I'll try to get some pics on later.#
I'll try to answer any questions.#
Thanks
